Jeremy Goldberg, GYPA Founder Director,
spent the fall of 2003 traveling in Uganda. After two years of development efforts, the program evolved into GYPA in January 2006. Today, Jeremy is actively engaged in the sports for social change movement, youth peace-building and development efforts, and writing about the intersection of technology, direct service, philanthropy and social entrepreneurship.

Terry McCormick, AOP Founder / Director, founded the Andean Outreach program in 2005 while volunteering for one year in Huancayo, Peru. With a background in Architectural Design and Construction, he was able to construct a number of projects in developing Andean communities. He runs the day-to-day operations of the organization, manages the fundraising, and sets the overall direction for the group.

Joseph Kaliisa, GYPA Director, co-founded GYPA with Jeremy Goldberg in 2003. He has extensive experience working with disadvantaged youth. His professional experience includes work with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Save the Children, and the Uganda Children's Charity Foundation.

Jonee Cocogliato AOP Volunteer Director, has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an Emphasis in Social Services from Dominican University as well as extensive experience traveling and volunteering in Europe, India, and Peru. She has volunteered with a number of charity organizations and has been to Huancayo several times to work with children and teach English.
